Course Description: Discusses the role and responsibility of the school nurse. Exploration of recommended coverage and ratios.

Course Objective:

  • Identify the definition of school nursing.
  • Identify the school district’s legal requirements for school nursing services.
  • Identify the possible funding sources for school nursing service.

TO COMPLETE A POST-ASSESSMENT AND POST-EVALUATION and/or CERTIFICATE COURSE

Instructions to Complete A Post-Assessment and Post-Evaluation Certificate Course

  1. Login to http://wi.train.org using login and password.
  2. Select My Learning on the right.
  3. Then click on Current Courses.
  4. Click on the M (Manage) to the right of the title.
  5. Select Completed.
  6. It will then tell you that you need to complete an assessment, so click on Assessment. When done, Close.
  7. At this point you will need to complete the Evaluation also. Click on Start Evaluation.
  8. When the evaluation is completed (10 questions), Close.
  9. If no certificate is offered, you are done.
  10. When a certificate is offered, go to TRAIN’s home page.
  11. Click on My Certificates on the right of the page.
  12. Then click on View All Certificates.
  13. To the right of the title in the Certificates column, click on the appropriate title.
  14. It will come up and you can print it. It will stay in Certificates permanently.
