Objectives:
By the end of the presentation, the attendee will be able to:

  1. Know the definition of anaphylaxis.
  2. Know the symptoms of anaphylaxis.
  3. Know the common allergens that result in anaphylactic reactions.
  4. Know the sequence of events in administration of the epinephrine.
  5. Know the side effects of epinephrine.
  6. Know the sequence of event in the administration of epinephrine by Epi-pen®.
  7. Know the prevalence and facts regarding biphasic reactions.

Instructions to Complete a Post-Assessment Certificate Course

  1. Login to http://wi.train.org using login and password.
  2. Select My Learning on the right.
  3. Then click on Current Courses.
  4. Click on the M (Manage) to the right of the title.
  5. Select Completed.
  6. It will then tell you that you need to complete a post-assessment, so click on Assessment.  When done, Close.
  7. If no certificate is offered, you are done.
  8. When a certificate is offered, go to TRAIN’s home page.
  9. Click on My Certificates on the right of the page.
  10. Then click on View All Certificates.
  11. To the right of the title in the Certificates column, click on the appropriate title.
  12. It will come up and you can print it.  It will stay in Certificates permanently.

You can either print this entire page, or simply return to it later for these instructions.
